The All-Virtual Forum Scheduled for April 2021
The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC), the largest association of workers’ compensation regulatory agencies in North America, has elected to hold its 2021 spring meeting, The Forum, as a fully-virtual event.
One way organizations can demonstrate care for its workers is to model positive health and safety practices. During a global pandemic, this means maintaining social distancing, supporting work from home, and limiting non-essential travel. To meet these business needs, the IAIABC Board of Directors has made the decision to host The Forum 2021 virtually. “The workers’ compensation community has come together frequently during the pandemic to learn from one another and overcome challenges. We look forward to continuing this engagement during the spring of 2021,” noted Jennifer Wolf, Executive Director, IAIABC.
The Forum 2021 will focus on engagement and discussion through virtual committee meetings, educational sessions, discussion forums, and social events. Programming will be hosted over 2 weeks and 6 days, April 20-22 and 27-29 taking place a few hours each day, accommodating different time zones and participants’ busy schedules. A full schedule and registration information will be released soon. Visit www.iaiabc.org/events/the-iaiabc-forum-2021 to learn more about the event.
