Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM (CST) to Friday, March 7, 2025 at 4:00 PM (CST)

Zoom Meeting

The IAIABC Dispute Resolution Committee is proud to host its first Virtual Advanced Mediators’ College. Beginning in February 2025, this virtual program is designed to offer experienced workers’ compensation mediators the opportunity to discuss topics of interest and allow for comparison of policies and procedures across jurisdictions. Topics include setting the stage for mediation, conducting Zoom mediations, ethical use of persuasion and influence, trauma-informed mediation, implicit bias… and more!

The program will consist of live sessions, group discussions, and self-paced learning content. Training materials were sourced and developed by experienced workers’ compensation mediators from across the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, live virtual discussions will also be facilitated by professionals from a variety of jurisdictions.

Participants who complete the program will receive attendance certificates for their records.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from and with fellow workers’ compensation mediators while making lasting connections!

Please note that all participants will be expected to commit 4-5 hours each week during the 3 weeks of the program as they attend a 3.5 hour virtual classroom, interact with peers, and utilize the self-paced learning content. By registering for this program, you agree to participate to the best of your ability in order to make this a worthwhile training for other students and the instructors. Additionally, live sessions may be recorded for use on educate@iaiabc or future marketing purposes.
