IAIABC 106th Convention – Virtual Will Impress with Variety of Programming and Two Inspired Keynote

The IAIABC 106th Convention – Virtual has taken a unique spin with its conference format in what has been a very different year. Beginning on September 9th, IAIABC 106th Convention - Virtual programming will take place each Wednesday and Thursday over four consecutive weeks. Sessions are scheduled for a few hours each day and content will be recorded and available to participants for one year after.

Through a mix of presentations, jurisdictional forums, discussion sessions, committee meetings, and social events, participants will have a number of opportunities to gain new knowledge and insights and to connect with peers.

Issues addressed during the Convention will include virtual hearings, data governance, diversity and inclusion, telemedicine, changing employment relationships, fee schedules, presumptions, performance measurement, and more. Two keynote presenters will bookend the Convention, discussing culture, connections, and accountability, topics of critical importance today.

Derek Young works with organizations and individuals on how to rapidly transform their cultures. With the COVID-19 pandemic drastically impacting how we work, culture is more important today than ever before. He has worked with companies such as Sprint, Dollar General, and Cracker Barrel on building their unique cultures for a successful future. Derek Young will open the IAIABC Convention on September 9th.

Alex Sheen is the founder of "because I said I would," an international social movement dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. He created a concept called the "Promise Card" to inspire others to keep their promises. This movement has translated into 12.3 million Promise Cards distributed throughout more than 153 countries.
