Professional Bio
Dr. Brian Wilson joined the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) team in August 2015 and currently serves as the Director of Medical and Health Services Research. Alongside BWC’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Wilson works to create policies and strategic initiatives which promote safe, quality, equitable, and cost-effective care at the right time and setting across the continuum. Prior to this, Dr. Wilson was in private practice for over 17 years as a Doctor of Chiropractic which provided him with extensive experience in treating patients with neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Wilson earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and his Master of Health Administration from Ohio University. He has been active in the IAIABC as both a member and Vice-Chair of the Medical Issues Committee. Previously, he served as a board member and past president of the Ohio State Chiropractic Board, member of the Ohio Youth Sports Concussion and Head Injury Guidelines Committee for Ohio’s Department of Health, and a former member of the board of advisors of Franciscan University of Steubenville.
