"Dive-In Discussions" invite IAIABC members to participate in discussions on various topics impacting the workers' compensation industry. Each discussion will be preceded by a short presentation from an IAIABC community member.

In 2023, Nhut Nguyen, Data Visualization Analyst for the Center of Workers’ Compensation Studies at NIOSH, led a Dive-In Discussion on Data Visualization. In this initial presentation, Nhut shared a list of dos and don’ts as it relates to data viz. We heard your feedback and are proud to offer a part two to the Dive-In Discussion on data viz!

In this new installment, Nhut will share best practices for building a data visualization dashboard and will demo how certain popular data visualization programs work. Bring your questions and be ready to discuss this increasingly essential tool.
